Outside the Box HR

What if HR thought outside the box in more areas? Could we change how or who we hire? Could we hire amazing people, open ourselves up for more talent, and broaden our scope? Or what about how we motivate our staff? Could we tap into a whole new level of employee engagement? Let’s talk about these concepts and ideas and how we can begin to think differently.   • Should we not hire someone with an unrelated job felony? Or someone covered in tattoos?
  • Should we hire based on experience not based on a college degree?
  • What if we hired people without experience and trained them?
  • What if we allowed remote work? Imagine who we could hire.
  • What if we had an onsite coach to help employees get motivated? To improve performance? To provide feedback from an outsider?

Our HR world is continually changing and evolving because people are continually changing and evolving, and we have to be ready and willing to acknowledge the change and find new ways to do our HR jobs successfully.
