OBJECTIVES

ENGAGE

Participants will have the opportunity to engage at two levels during the conference.  First the speakers and the material they cover will enable participants to identify practical steps they can take to make any necessary pivots to implement proven concepts that drive results.

Second, the flow of the event intentionally encourages participants to meet each other.  Often times the help we need is just a seat away.  Building connections with other like minded professionals brings value, experience and comradery that could create the tipping point your organization needs.

INSPIRE

“Creative thinking inspires ideas.  Ideas inspire change.” – Barbara Januszkiewicz

This HR Summit’s topics are filled with the creative thinking to inspire ideas for your organization.  Ideas that will help you develop and grow how your organization works, flows and interacts with others and yourselves.  These ideas can lead to the change you’ve been searching for.

GROW

We searched far and wide for quality speakers that will bring relevant information to help all of us learn and continue our personal development while helping our organizations thrive.  The current lineup is qualified to head a state or national convention, and we secured them for you, right here in Redding.

You will learn from their experiences, stories and life lessons.  You will leave with ideas, concepts and tools to begin to implement the change you know you must bring to get to the next level.

The HR Summit is the premier HR event in the area that you can’t afford to miss.

Topic: Managing a Remote Workforce In Today’s World.

In this session, Jeanine will discuss the need for your managers to adjust their thinking when it comes to managing remote employees.  Managers are still the “touch point” with employees that employers need. Managers ensure that work gets done, but also that employees’ rights are protected.  We’ll talk about how this may be different when people are meeting in the office daily.  Fair employment, leaves of absence and other laws have not been revised in any way in light of COVID restrictions.  And neither have wage and hour laws!  So… in this session, we’ll also have a bonus discussion of hot topics in wage and hour law, including the intersection of social distancing protocols mandated by state and local public health authorities and the impact on employees who have returned to a work place.
