In 2016, California enacted the strictest equal pay law in the nation. Join us for an interactive presentation reviewing where we are five years out from SB 358’s implementation.
During this webinar, we will explore the responsibility imposed on employers by California’s Fair Pay Act and examine how employers can ensure that they are meeting the Act’s requirements. California’s Fair Pay Act requires that employees performing substantially equivalent work are paid fairly by requiring equal pay for work “of comparable character.” It also prohibited retaliation or discrimination against employees who discuss their compensation or inquire about their co-workers’ wages for the purpose of exercising their rights under Act. This webinar will focus on getting employers up to speed on the requirements and recent developments of California’s Fair Pay Act and prepare them to implement policies to ensure compliance with the same.
