Fisher Phillips Welcomes Iriel Jones in Atlanta

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Iriel Jones has joined the firm as an associate in the Atlanta office.

Iriel joins Fisher Phillips after serving as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Transportation, where she focused on labor and employment litigation matters at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). While at the FAA, she defended Title VII cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), reviewed contracts between the FAA and labor unions for compliance with labor laws, and counseled management regarding the legality of employee disciplinary actions. Iriel also represented the U.S. Department of Transportation in transportation regulatory matters before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Iriel earned her J.D. at Howard University School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Cathy Serrette, an associate judge in Maryland’s Circuit Court for Prince George’s County.

In the community, Iriel serves as a member of The Atlanta Lawyer Editorial Board and the Wellness Committee for the Atlanta Bar Association.
