With all that the Northstate has experienced in the last couple years, and now with the COVID-19 pandemic that has changed almost everything in our lives, we are dealing with many issues that cause stress – both in the workplace and at home. We are pleased to be bringing this training to Northstate SHRM help us all learn how to better help ourselves and others through crisis, and how to become more resilient.
This program will introduce you to the CRM® Community Resilience Model, which helps create a “resiliency-focused” spirit in the workplace, in communities, and in our personal lives. CRM gives you an understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system, and how resiliency can be developed, restored or increased using this skills-based approach while at work, in the community, or at home.
This introduction to CRM Skills will empower you to:
- Develop six core wellness skills that will help bring your body, mind, and spirit back into greater balance during
- Learn simple yet powerful techniques to self-regulate and remain in control during stressful times.
- Develop new habits in your daily life that will help widen your Resilient Zone.
- Bring the best you to any situation.
- Encourage others to build and develop their own Resilient Zone.

Emiliano Jimenez-Cornejo, Professional Trainer, Certified CRM Trainer – Emiliano Jimenez-Cornejo lives in Chico, CA where he is raising his two kids (4 & 6 years old). At his core, he is an economist, but different life events moved him to become a trainer at The Training Place, Butte College. He is the lead trainer for the Community Resiliency Model program, working with employers in Butte County and statewide.
Emiliano experienced and overcame his own traumatic events in life, and is passionate about facilitating training where participants not only learn about trauma and resiliency, but also gain skills that help them move forward in their personal and professional lives. He is energetic, authentic, and very engaging. You will learn skills to apply right away, in a fun, safe, and interactive environment.
