OUR TOPIC:

Personality Assessments in the Workplace

If a candidate told you — they are an I-N-T-J, or a nine with eight and one wing, or that they work best with greens and avoid reds, or that they are mostly open-agreeable-stable, or that their strengths are Focus-Communication-Empathy-Learner, or that they are both a Shepherd and a Dreamer-Minstrel– would you know what that meant?  And would you take that information into consideration?

If your team needs help working together, or if your management team needs leadership training, or if you yourself want to be better at managing your own interactions with others, would you know which personality assessment(s) would be best to use to meet these needs?

Join us for this fun and interactive look at personality assessments in the workplace. You will gain insight on six major personality frameworks, discuss and discover best practices for using personality frameworks as part of your hiring and training practices, and put together a plan to work toward better workplaces and better people when personality matters.

Learning objectives for the workshop include —

  1. Participants will be able to articulate the need for and usefulness of incorporating personality measurements and personality education into the workplace setting.
  2. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to be able to distinguish and articulate the similarities and differences between six common personality frameworks.
  3. Participants will begin a plan to improve organizational and personal effectiveness by incorporating personality measurements and personality education into the workplace setting.

Some of the topics included in the workshop —

  1. Knowing thyself and others: Personalities, Brain-based Diversities, Human Behaviors
  2. Knowing your options: Pre-hire uses, Staff and Leadership Development, Personal Development
  3. Knowing what/how to say/do: Conflict, Social-emotional intelligence, Communication skills, Feedback

This one will be packed full of information, so if using personality assessments is something of interest to you, don’t miss this one.
