We have a special guest joining us, a fellow Northstate HR professional, who recently went through an active shooter incident at her workplace.  She will share her experience with us – something we all prepare for but think and hope it will never happen in our workplace.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Sgt. Andy Houghtby is the Deputy Director of Office of Emergency Services (OES) for Tehama County Sheriff’s office. Sgt. Houghtby has been in law enforcement for 23 years and conducts Active Shooter Emergency Response training for law enforcement personnel as well as civilians.

Terri Hill, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is the Human Resources Manager for the Walmart Distribution Center in Red Bluff, and is a past Northstate SHRM Board President.  Her experience spans 20+ years in all aspects of Human Resources in varying industries within Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.  Doing the right thing, honesty and connecting through relationship building are her strongest skills.  She enjoys helping others find solutions to best fit the outcomes they desire.
